USLAW Amends Bylaws, Adds New Co-Convenor
Amendment to the USLAW By-Laws
In accordance with Article XVI, Section 2, amendments to USLAW By-Laws can be made in the following manner:
“. . . amendments submitted during a National Assembly may be considered without advance notice if recommended by a 2/3 majority vote of the Steering Committee or by a motion from the floor by a duly authorized delegate supported by a 2/3 majority vote of all delegates then voting.”
ARTICLE IX – Executive Officers, Section 1 – Co-convenors as officers
Change in the first sentence “five (5)” to “seven (7)”.
In addition to the current six officers, the Assembly elected Brooks Sunkett, National Vice President of Communications Workers of America, as its seventh Co-convenor.
